Novel Hotel

The hotel has a good location, and some rooms have a nice balcony view. The rest was a mess. We were on the fifth floor, and the internet went from glitchy to completely gone. Cleaning seemed nonexistent: dirty carpet, candy wrappers under the bed, and cigarettes on the balcony. With the door and windows shut when we left, a nasty sewage and dried-fruit smell developed. Opening the window helped, and we got used to it. Some rooms don't have windows at all. We paid $56,500 including tax for three nights, which was terrible value for money. The beds and furniture were old and broken, the safe didn't work because it was ancient, and the wooden floor creaked, felt soft, and had holes. One bulb was out. I got about 50 bites in two nights. We'd stayed somewhere else before this and had no such problem, so I hope they were from mosquitoes and not bugs. For what the hotel charges per night, breakfast could be much better.
