Play Hostel Garden

The location in a quieter part of Palermo was perfect. Mouli, a great cafe, is right next door, along with a laundromat and suitcase storage, and there’s a good late-night burger place, holic, nearby. The decorated reception and common area are lovely, and there’s a nice outdoor space too. I arrived after midnight and was glad the desk was staffed around the clock. The staff sorted out a payment problem in just a few minutes. My private room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed that was welcome after a long flight. The bathroom could use an update, but it was fine. After a long hike I had an injured knee, and the staff kindly offered me a cold compress, which was a really nice surprise. Breakfast was pleasant, with toast, pastries and drinks. I’d choose a private room here over an Airbnb or hotel. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

There was plenty of room for luggage, and the rooms were clean. Play Hostel Garden on Paraguay has a fun, laid-back feel, without the chaos of some international party hostels. They put on events that help guests get to know one another. Cony was a lively, encouraging coordinator, and everyone loved the game night she ran. A really accommodating place to stay.

Connie helped me out a lot when I was having trouble with my phone and SIM card, especially since I barely speak Spanish. Later she sang a Chilean song for us and made us feel welcome. The place was clean and had lots of activities. I’d stay again.

Cony’s activity was so much fun. I’ve only been here a couple of days, but I already feel really welcome. I love this hostel, it’s great.
