Prodeo Hotel & Lounge

We spent two weeks at the prodeo for our honeymoon, and the staff really made us feel at home. They were attentive throughout, and the complimentary breakfast had plenty to choose from, including sweet treats, vegetarian quiche, eggs, bacon, cold meats, cheeses, and fruit. The pool was perfect, the beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning worked beautifully. The hotel was clean and not out of date. Its spot between Palermo Soho and Hollywood made it easy to walk to clubs, pups, restaurants, cafes, and more. I'd absolutely recommend staying here.

There are just 11 rooms, so the hotel stays nice and quiet even though it's in Palermo's party neighborhood. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable, and the balcony has blackout doors, which made it easy to sleep in if I wanted. There are lots of bars, restaurants, and excellent breweries within walking distance. Breakfast each morning was very good, and the staff can speak English if needed. The place has a modern, chic look.

I was quite ill and couldn't travel, but the property wouldn't refund one night's stay. I was shocked by that lack of flexibility, especially given the circumstances. My WhatsApp messages went unanswered, and they told me I had to pay the 21% VAT despite having a foreign credit card. I expected more consideration and customer service. It felt like they would rather have guests arrive sick than show any understanding. Avoid this place if you expect basic decency.

A real little hotel, in a great spot between Palermo Soho and Hollywood. The rooms are modern and spacious, with a comfy bed and a cool little balcony. The bathroom was good, and breakfast was nice. Just be aware there are no power sockets near the beds.
