The location is very central and the service is great, but the rooms feel cramped and you can hear everything through the walls. The bathrooms are see-through, which feels awkward. Not sure who thought that was a good idea!

The location and breakfast were good, but the rooms didn't match what we'd seen on booking. We later found out we'd been put in the old accommodations, so after two nights we had to ask to move. I also had a bad experience finding a hair in one of the sweets I chose. The price was higher than I expected, and the experience wasn't worth it.

I couldn't wait to leave. The rooms were small, dirty, and smelled bad, with no internet. In winter, the heater was as loud as an airplane turbine, and the alternative was freezing under a blanket that was too thin. Breakfast was poor, and one winter day there wasn't even warm water. This never felt like a four-star hotel. I can't believe the positive reviews here are genuine.

Breakfast was good, and so was the bed, but I couldn't get a reliable WiFi connection in my room. I had to go down to the lobby for decent internet. The cleaning staff also kept their walkie-talkies turned all the way up in the corridors, so I couldn't sleep in over the weekend.

The staff and service were first class, and I thought the hotel was good. It's clearly an older property, though, and the rooms, bathrooms, and elevators don't match what modern hotels offer. It needs investment to bring things up to date, and I wouldn't choose it for a long stay.
