Rugantino Boutique

This rustic, bohemian hotel is in a great location, and the service was great. It was very clean, and breakfast came with lovely homemade treats. The room felt a bit worn, though, and the towels were thin. The bedding was old and thin too, and the pillows were lumpy.

The hosts were friendly, though they weren't very helpful with arranging the things we wanted to do. Breakfast was adequate, and the rooms were basic but clean. We stayed in a room at the front of the building and had some trouble with street noise.

I reserved a room for a friend visiting from the States. My wife walked him to the hotel to help him find it and handle the language barrier, since he didn't know any Spanish. When they arrived, the price had changed, even though I made the booking locally using my Argentine credit card. My friend wasn't impressed with the hotel or the service. He left a review on booking.com criticizing the tiny, basic room, the fact that it wasn't cleaned until the third day, the rude check-in, and the terrible breakfast. After that, the hotel said two people had checked in and that we should pay accordingly. They're still sending nasty messages like moody teenagers. I've lived here for over 22 years and have never seen anything like this. Stay away from these people.

This place felt like a home away from home, and it was just right for us. The staff were friendly and helpful, and at breakfast we met great people from all over the world. We were amazingly lucky to find this laid-back, chill gem. Highly recommend it.
