A laid-back hotel in a great neighborhood, just a few blocks from the obelisk. Plenty of restaurants around.

The receptionist was the one bright spot, she was really helpful. The rooms were cramped, furniture was broken or swollen from damp, curtains were dirty, towels torn, and the bathroom was a mess, with soaps tossed around. The remote was broken too. The continental breakfast is basically a joke: it doesn't really exist, just corner-shop croissants, water, soda, coffee, tea, yerba mate, and juice that probably wasn't fresh. Nothing fancy. Wi-Fi barely exists and only reaches up to the third floor, so forget it on the fourth or fifth. At least the AC worked. I wouldn't return. It felt like they couldn't stand us.

We only needed somewhere to sleep after arriving in Buenos Aires without a reservation on a weekend when hotels were packed with tourists. This was the last room we could get, and it wasn't cheap. The location was the only good thing. The room was dirty, the sheets were so torn that I asked for them to be changed, and I didn't dare use the shower because it was so unclean.

They quote you one price, then charge more when you pay, and don't even ask for a reservation. Luggage storage costs $20,000 and only lasts until 3 PM. The sheets and shower curtain were ripped, the mattress springs were noticeable, and the elevator wasn't working on my floor. The receptionist who checked me in was incredibly unfriendly and wouldn't look me in the eye while speaking. Everything was awful. I can't recommend it.
