For me, it’s hard to imagine a better location. It’s near San Telmo, a few blocks from the Obelisk and a little farther from Puerto Madero. Independencia station, served by lines C and E, is very close, between Carlos Calvo and Estados Unidos streets. The place is comfortable and nicely furnished, especially handy when first arriving in Buenos Aires. Just keep in mind it isn’t a good fit for a tight budget.

The city center is a little far away, though the subway makes that manageable. There’s a convenience store on the ground floor and a bank across the road. The room itself is roomy and comes with a good range of tableware.

The rooms are decent, though the sofa feels a bit flimsy and there’s no cable TV. I found it pretty average. This part of the city is noisy, and the area isn’t among the best.

Trying to reserve two apartments has been really difficult because WhatsApp replies take hours, come from different people, and still don’t clear up my questions. After several days, I haven’t managed to book.
