Up Tribeca Hotel

The staff were really nice, and I don't blame them, but the owner needs to sort out the soundproofing. I spent three nights there and loud music kept me awake from 11 pm until 5 am on two of them. That's why I'm giving it 2 stars. If you want to sleep, avoid Friday and Saturday nights.

The room was spacious and cute, with a charming Spanish style, and the hotel is in the Pasaj, close to everything in BA. The front desk team were lovely and helpful. Max was especially kind and booked our tango show, getting us great seats. For a 3-4 star hotel, the hospitality was the best. I'd stay again next time I'm in BA, though I'd skip breakfast since it's very basic.

Good value and a great location, with clean rooms that are roomy enough for two. The staff were friendly and helpful, and Maximilian is a great guy. I read reviews mentioning homeless people on the street nearby, but I never saw any. Breakfast could use improvement: no eggs or omelette, and just one kind of cheese.

We had cockroaches in our room, and the noise made it hard to sleep. You hear guests coming onto the floor, people talking in the hallway and in their rooms, and TVs from other rooms. Nobody seems to keep quiet, and there is a lot of shouting at doors. I wish I'd known how terrible the soundproofing was. For this price, it's not worth it. It may look okay, but I strongly advise against staying here.
