The place has real charm, with a beautiful outdoor area, tasteful decor, and a very pleasant atmosphere. We were comfortable during our stay, and the location is excellent. Still, some service problems had a real effect on our experience. We were charged approximately €120 for a reasonable load of laundry, including trousers, shirts, t-shirts, and several undergarments. We hadn't checked the price first, which we should have, but the amount seemed completely out of proportion to the service. When we asked through Booking if the charge was right, the property manager's reply felt dismissive and unprofessional. We were told it was “cheaper than a coffee” and that we should have asked beforehand. Whatever the internal pricing policy, that response was disappointing for a hotel. For a property presented as a boutique hotel, communication about charges felt inconsistent. Lemonades were offered, then showed up on the final bill, without anyone clearly saying they weren't complimentary. There was no water in our room, although other rooms did have water. Cleanliness also fell short of boutique standards: the bedspreads weren't fully clean, and the pool could have been better maintained. More care with transparency, consistency, and the guest experience would make a substantial difference.

The breakfast was enjoyable and gave the stay a positive note. The hotel itself has plenty of charm too, with beautifully designed outdoor areas, a pool among cacti and greenery, and cosy places to sit and relax. But the standard rooms were small and bare, with little natural light, barely enough space for luggage, and rather uncomfortable mattresses. Comfort was lacking there. The reception was a major disappointment: the welcome felt so unfriendly and unwelcoming that it had a big effect on my overall impression.

The food at the restaurant was good, and this is a quaint, tastefully decorated boutique hotel in Cachi village. A couple of things got in the way of a good night's sleep and a quiet breakfast: the bed was somewhat hard, the pillows even harder, and the restaurant coffee machine was extremely loud.

They even opened the breakfast room early for us on departure day, since we had to leave before the official breakfast time. The service was attentive, and we'd happily stay again. We spent one night at this cosy boutique hotel, which has a lovely wild garden and pool. It's also a perfect base for exploring Cachi.

The staff were courteous and friendly, and made the place feel homey. Every moment at this magical hotel was a pleasure. The colonial-style decor is beautiful, and you can tell that attention went into every detail.
