Breakfast was disappointing, with very few choices and not much quality. I also asked about laundry, and they quoted 3000 to 5000 Argentine pesos per item, which didn't seem worth the cost. The biggest issue was how little privacy there was: you could hear everything from one room to another.

The gardens around the hosteria are lovely, with nice views, and it's only a short walk into the village center. Our room was okay, though the open gap between it and the neighbors' room meant we could hear everything. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The restaurant was a highlight, with really good food at reasonable prices. The waiters weren't friendly, though; they just did the job. The rooms were spacious and clean, and I think this place has the best views in cachi. A very nice stay.

The bed was comfortable, though the towels felt like sandpaper. The birds were very loud in the morning, so don't expect to sleep in. Breakfast starts at 7.30am, and the choices are limited, which brings the rating down a bit. The hotel sits on a small hill above Cachi, just a short walk from the main square and its good range of restaurants. The bedroom and bathroom are a reasonable size, but the walls are so thin we could hear the people next door talking. Still, I would happily have stayed another night.

Very basic. There was barely any water pressure, so a decent bath or shower was out of the question. I wouldn't recommend it.
