Casa del Sol

The pool was clean and a lovely way to cool off in the afternoon, and Cecelia was so helpful with thoughtful recommendations and made things easy throughout our stay. It's also just a short walk from Plaza de Cafayate. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and right in the heart of Cafayate, with great staff all around.

Tea and cookies are laid out for free in the afternoon. Breakfast was great too, with fresh fruit and orange juice, ham and cheese sandwiches, croissants, bread, butter, jam, and something chocolatey. The rooms were very nice, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. We don't speak Spanish, but could understand the way they spoke.

The pool and garden were lovely places to unwind, and the main square, 9 de Julio, is just around the corner with lots of dinner options. We spent three nights at Casa de Sol and had a really pleasant stay. The room was clean and nicely decorated, breakfast was generous, and the service was outstanding, the best we had on our trip through northern Argentina.

The air conditioning worked, though it was a little noisy. The room, bathroom, and bedroom were all very large and comfortable. It's a nice private hotel, and the staff were really friendly, though they don't speak English. I enjoyed staying here and went into the city center for dinner.
