I only stayed for one day because I had a day free from my other accommodation, but I left very happy with the experience. It was my first visit, and I’d definitely come back. The hotel is lovely, and the spacious terrace with its pool has a beautiful view. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, even if the selection wasn’t very big. Everyone was so welcoming, especially the owner Alicia, who is a sweetheart. The hotel is practically around the corner from the bus terminal and close to the center of Capilla, by the famous Techada.

I was really looking forward to this stay, so it’s a shame they cancelled my reservation without explaining why. They only said it was “due to force majeure.” They didn’t apologize, offer compensation or a discount for a future stay, or help me find somewhere else to stay, even though I’d chosen them over other hotels. I expected them to take care of their guests and at least explain what happened.

The owner gave us a warm welcome and enjoys talking about the region and art. Breakfast is homemade, and parking is available. Our room was clean with a high ceiling. The place combines modern touches like exposed concrete with reclaimed furniture in a restored period home, and there’s a pool on the roof.

The staff looked after me wonderfully, and the hotel itself is beautiful. Everything from the comfort and amenities to the breakfast, cleanliness, and location was superb. I had a great few days and hope to come back soon.
