Carmine Hotel Apart

Really excellent.

The pool was beautiful, and there’s a terrace beside it with tables where we could have breakfast. Breakfast was delicious, with little rolls, toast, croissants, juice, and different kinds of fruit. We loved it and would definitely recommend the place. We’ll come back for sure. It’s a lovely old house, just two blocks from the square. Everything was neat, and Luis and Leonor looked after us wonderfully. Our room was spacious, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. There’s a small fridge and a full TV setup. The shower pressure could be better, but we had no trouble bathing.

We’ve stayed here twice now, and being here is such a treat. It’s easy to fully unwind, even when it rains. Everything is beautiful! A big thank you to Luis and his family for making us feel so welcome each time. And Luna’s playful antics are always a delight 🐶🐕

The architecture and calm atmosphere are what I liked most. The old building is very well kept, and the owners are warm and helpful, always ready to assist with whatever you need. The rooms are roomy and accessible for wheelchair users. There’s a step at the entrance, though, and three steps to get into the pool. The bathroom showers are accessible, but the toilets sit too low; a raised seat would fix that. The beds are standard but comfortable, and breakfast is generous yet simple.
