Sul Mare Hotel

I'm staying with a group at Sul Mare Hotel in Valeria del Mar. It's in a very good, quiet location near the sea. Rooms and shared areas are acceptably clean. Breakfast and afternoon tea are basic but adequate, and lunch and dinner are simple but sufficient. A birthday party in a ground-floor room seriously disrupted the stay for several of us, including me. Loud music went on for hours, making it very hard to rest. Several guests raised concerns with the concierge and staff because we feared we wouldn't be able to sleep. Our tour coordinator complained too, as did the company we booked through. We were told nothing could be done and they weren't authorized to change things. No manager or supervisor came to address it or find a solution. I understand hotels may rent out event spaces, but they should also protect guests' ability to rest. I'm mentioning this so future guests know that nighttime events like this can happen. The hotel seems peaceful, but at times it can become chaotic and disruptive.

The staff deserve a special mention, from reception to the last cook or cleaner. They were incredibly warm and helpful. The hotel is literally on the beach, and they lend you towels to take down there. There's a heated pool, you can keep your room key, and Cariló is 10 minutes away, with Ostende next door and Pinamar 15 minutes away. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner were all delicious. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. They call it a 4-star hotel, but I'd give it almost 5. Spectacular from start to finish, and I'd absolutely recommend it! 👏🏼

What a spectacular stay! Everything was spotless, and the service, staff, and location were all great. They provide beach chairs and an umbrella, and the massages with Paula were really good. The only thing missing was a hair dryer in the room. Highly recommend it.

The meals were the highlight for us. Lunch and dinner were homemade, generous, and really good quality, easily a 10 out of 10. Our group was given breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner. The room was roomy and comfortable, and the hotel facilities were superb. My one small breakfast wish: yogurt or orange juice would have made it feel a little more refreshing. The location is unbeatable, too.
