We grabbed sandwiches even though the hotel was closed for the season, then sat and took in the beautiful setting for a bit. Such a pretty, cozy spot.

Ñuke Piren is right in the commercial center of Caviahue, Neuquén province. It has two floors, with a good access ramp for people with disabilities, though there's no elevator to reach the upper one. The heating is excellent, and the rooms are nicely furnished with satellite TV. Bathrooms are well equipped, and the large bathroom and dining areas are kept clean. The dining room is spacious and nicely furnished too. Service is very good. There's also a games room with ping-pong and a pool table.

The breakfast was generous and had lots of variety, and everything aside from a couple of issues was excellent. The room was comfortable and the location was great. Hot water took ages to reach the shower, and the faucet seemed broken: it only gave a trickle, and that water was scalding. Heating around the hotel was also a bit weak.

For months, the owner and employees haven't replied to messages. They owe money and won't take responsibility for it. Completely unacceptable.

The common areas could use more heat, especially the dining room. Otherwise, it's a nice hotel with a large room and good hot water. The staff were friendly and helpful every time, and the service was very good.
