The rooms were clean and really comfortable, and the owner was kind, with lots of helpful tips and recommendations for the area. The hostel is in a lovely, quiet part of Chilecito. Bike rentals are great value and the bikes are great; the tours are the same. Without a car, this is a good base since many of the beautiful places around Chilecito are hard to reach.

A clean, roomy hostel in a quiet neighbourhood a little north of the centre. There's plenty to do with other travellers here, and shops, supermarkets, and really good restaurants are all nearby. Recommend it!

The hosts were friendly and the hostel had a really good atmosphere. It got hot in the room at night without AC. The fan helped some, but it was too noisy.

The good vibe at this hostel and the city and area around it were such a positive surprise that I stayed for over a week. The hosts made me feel at home. On Wednesday nights, there's delicious Argentinian asado in the beautiful patio, which is also a lovely, creative spot to relax or have a drink at night. With a vehicle or motorbike, it's easy to explore the stunning nature, trekking routes, and climbing areas close by. This is THE place to stay in Chilecito and La Rioja. I'll definitely come back if my route brings me here again. Muchas gracias y nos vemos

Santi was a legend and really helped us out. We were cycling down from the north when my partner got sick, and Santi came to pick us up from the roadside. We stayed a few days to recover, and it was just the right place for that. It's a lovely, clean, modern hostel, with WiFi, netflix, and a full kitchen with everything you need. I think it's the best in Rioja, and definitely recommend it.
