This was disgraceful. We had to scrub greasy utensils ourselves and disinfect the bathroom because of the smell, yet they expect us to clean up months of grime when we leave? The place was not clean, and I absolutely wouldn’t recommend it. They came up with excuse after excuse, talking as if the cleaning lady didn’t really like doing her job. Then they gave us ridiculous answers like, “We never leave things dirty.” We didn’t leave it dirty! I have proof, and be careful, there are kissing bugs. A disgrace.

Maricel, the owner, is very kind, and we appreciated the welcome sweets and the discounts for the hot springs. The apartment was lovely and comfortable, with pretty good cleanliness and great value for money. We were traveling with a baby, so the slightly dangerous staircase was a concern. If we get the chance to return to Colón, we’ll stay here again. Thank you.

The owners were really friendly, and the WhatsApp communication and information were super clear. I also got a little gift when I arrived, which was a nice touch. The place was very clean and comfortable, with good towels and bedding, extra blankets if needed, and a simple kitchen stocked with essentials. The bathroom was comfortable and the shower was great, and the terrace was a nice spot to sit outside. It’s good value if you’re on a tight budget and aren’t too demanding. Just think about the distances if you don’t have a car. I could hear people in other units and neighbors mowing the lawn while I was there, and the refrigerator was extremely loud. I had to sleep with earplugs, so I wouldn’t recommend it to light sleepers.

A relaxing spot for a few days, with excellent service.
