The people were nice, especially the volunteers and staff, but the dorm was really noisy. I spent five nights in an eight-person room without getting proper sleep. When I cut my stay short, the owner initially didn't want to refund the four nights I had left. After a lot of back and forth, I got back only half the cost of those remaining nights. If your budget isn't tight and you'd rather have somewhere quieter and cleaner, I'd pick another place. In the end, it won't cost much more.

The staff are very friendly, and there is a bit of a community feel. The place is crowded, grubby, and somewhat run-down, though it may suit travelers who aren't looking for somewhere bright and shiny. I also don't think the Booking.com reviews are accurate: it seems they cancel bookings in the system after guests check in, supposedly to avoid taxes. Calling it the "best hostel in Cordoba" seems off unless you like the feel of a friend's college house.

I felt at home during the five weeks I lived at Casa Artigas last year while volunteering at the Observatorio Astronómico de Córdoba. Ale and his friends were so welcoming and kind, and the shared spaces always had a warm, friendly feel among travelers and longer-term guests. The hostel is clean, cozy, nicely decorated, and in a great spot. I really recommend it. Thanks for such a lovely stay, and see you soon! 😍🥰🥳😃 ❤️ Suzy

The shared food was a lovely touch. There were always basics like oil, salt, spices, and coffee for everyone, plus some kind of free food most days, and sometimes facturas at breakfast. The staff and owners even cooked dinner for the whole group. I felt too awful to join that day, but really appreciated the gesture. The hostel has a cheerful, close-knit feel, and the people running it are warm and keen to help you enjoy Córdoba. The beds are great, and there are five showers downstairs with plenty of hot water. The kitchen is decent, though it could use more things like pots with lids and handles and a potato masher. The Wi-Fi is strong except around midday, when it would reliably slow to a crawl or cut out for no clear reason. There are plenty of little things I could pick at, but the place has a good heart and I hope they keep that genuine buena onda. Just know it's not suited to anyone who needs quiet, time alone, or an undisturbed night's sleep. I'm also concerned the improvised construction won't last long, so it needs attention.
