Cordoba Inn Apart Hotel

There’s a great Arabic restaurant across the street, right on the corner by the Jesuit college.

It was okay.

The best thing about this place is where it is. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, even across the street. A Disco supermarket is around the corner, Patio Olmos shopping mall is two blocks away, and the historic center is about three blocks away. There’s also a nearby bus stop for the airport, which is handy if you’re staying the night before a flight. It’s an older aparthotel, but very clean and tidy. Nothing luxurious, though it’s more than adequate for a couple of nights. Since it’s an apartment, it has the essentials: water heating, some food, and a small fridge that’s useful for keeping drinks cold in warmer months. Heating water is convenient too, so you can have coffee, tea, or mate without going out to ask for it, which can be a hassle. Parking isn’t included, as stated, and needs to be requested in advance because spaces are limited. The parking is very well located, just around the corner on the same block.

It’s in a convenient location, but my stay went badly. There was no electric kettle or stove, just an old microwave that cut the power when we switched it on. The towels and sheets in the room were never changed, the elevator was out of order, and there were cockroaches. The staff were the one good part. They were very helpful and tried to find a solution for us.
