The owner humiliated an employee in front of guests and verbally attacked two Brazilian guests, saying Brazilian women are only good for sex. What a horrible place to stay.

The hostel is friendly and simple, with a small pool and a basic breakfast. The room has three triple bunk beds, though, so there’s hardly any space for your belongings.

This place turned into a club, with music blaring from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. Drunk people even tried to get into our room. We’d paid for three nights, but after that first night we asked for our money back and went somewhere else. If you want to party, this is the place. If you need somewhere to sleep, don’t come here.

The staff were nice and helpful, which is the only good thing I can think of. The facilities were in bad, dirty shape, and the room we got didn’t match the Hostelworld listing. That’s a clear no-go.

The owner is xenophobic and misogynistic, and has no respect for paying guests. Don’t stay there. If you don’t know how to treat people well, you shouldn’t be working in this line of work.
