The rooms are tiny and old, though there is a fridge. I also found a giant spider in my apartment. It appeared as soon as I touched the table. The window lock was broken, and an emergency ladder came up from the floor below, so it didn’t feel secure. The Wi-Fi was extremely slow, around 300-400 kbps, and often nonexistent. I had to buy Starlink. The neighborhood is a red-light district and apparently dangerous after 6 p.m. The hostel manager gave me John Silver vibes.

The room looked nothing like the published photos. It smelled of mold and damp, and the bedding and towels were dirty, so we decided to leave immediately. They wouldn’t handle a refund and told us to make a claim with Expedia, avoiding responsibility. Outside the hotel there were two people apparently under the influence of drugs asking for money, and three police officers were there. Please stay away.

The Wi-Fi on the first floor didn’t work at all, and breakfast was only dry toast. The red-light district is just around the corner, too. I was charged too much on both days: they added 21% VAT even though the system clearly showed I’m not an Argentinian resident, and I never got that money back. They also used an inflationary exchange rate between USD and ARS. I’d never go back. Do yourself a favor and don’t book this hotel.
