Yolanda Hotel Cordoba

We had dinner here. The food was great, and so was the service!

Dinner is available here, which is handy when you don't feel like heading out, and the area is quiet with plenty of parking. The room itself is roomy and comfortable, with a good bed, sheets, and pillows. There's paid parking too. I just wish there were a kettle so I could make tea or mate without asking reception for water. They kindly brought some when I asked.

I was happy with the quality for the price, and there were lots of dishes to choose from. I went for Sunday lunch, and both the food and service were really good. The place has a vintage look and seems aimed at an older crowd. A nice choice for a special outing.

The receptionists were the only decent part of what was surely the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The owner made the place feel disgusting all over again: he shut the main door while it was raining, leaving people waiting outside, then went off to eat. Neither he nor the head chef says hello, and they look down on you as though they're above everyone else. They yell at employees and treat room guests badly too. The bathrooms and beds were full of fleas, and there were spiders and fleas all over the room. The sheets were stained and the towels stank. Instead of cleaning a flea nest, they covered it with a trash can. They charge an outrageous amount for such contempt. I would never go back, and I hope nobody else does. A terrible hotel experience.
