The garden, location, and rooms were all lovely, but the volunteers were what made the hostel feel so special and like a home away from home. We shared evening meals, stories, laughs, and mate. Thanks to Dai, Helena, Tomi, Nico, and Paola, and of course to Mario, the owner. I'll definitely come back 😍💃🏻

I've been traveling around South America for about two months, and this is the best hostel I've stayed in. Mario was waiting when I got out of my Uber, helped me get settled, and let me practice Spanish with him. He spoke slowly and clearly. The staff are so helpful and make you feel at home straight away. Everything is clean and organized, and the kitchen has everything you need. There's a whole outdoor area with hammocks and seats, plus a mirador overlooking the city. I'm blown away by Mirador and highly recommend it to anyone visiting El Bolsón.

Mario was really helpful with hiking information and even suggested other plans when the weather changed. The hostel deserves all the hype: the kitchen is well equipped, and the whole place is kept very clean. There were very few guests when I visited, but it still felt warm and homey. It's outside the town center, so plan ahead and bring what you'll need. In return, you get great views and peace. Highly recommend.

The views over El Bolson are spectacular, and there's even a small creek to cool off in. The beds were really comfortable, everything was clean, and the staff were lovely. For a homey dinner, they cook a lovely meal that everyone shares family style. This was our favorite hostel in Argentina, and I really recommend staying here ☺️
