The rooms are excellent, and breakfast is provided, but there’s no restaurant at the hotel. The nearest one is about a 14-minute walk away. The reception staff weren’t helpful at all and seemed unable to do anything beyond the basic rules. The manager couldn’t be contacted on the weekend. I can understand that at an office, but it’s completely unacceptable for a hotel.

It’s quite far from the center and uphill, so I’d recommend having a vehicle or getting a taxi to get around. The place itself is quiet and has a tremendous view. There’s an indoor pool open until 00 and a spa, though the hotel has some flaws. You have to leave your key when you go out, and they don’t allow takeout or other food bought outside, even though their own facilities aren’t always available. On the plus side, their restaurant serves great meals.

The pool in the basement didn’t look very hygienic, so we skipped it. The hotel is a little off the main street, but the rooms are nice and the lake view is great.

The views are nice, the rooms are clean, and the staff are friendly. It’s convenient for walking to the main street and restaurants. The problem is there are no electric plugs in the room, which makes charging a phone difficult.
