Sebastian and Isabelle are amazing hosts. They greet you with a smile, help with anything you need, and are always working to make the hostel nicer and cozier. The rooms and facilities are a little outdated, but it has what you need, and the beds are clean and comfortable. It’s an 8-minute walk from the center, and there’s a very nice bakery a minute away where you can get coffee with cake or a sandwich. Best hostel in El Calafate, highly recommend!

It feels like being at home with a big family, and the location is quiet since it’s off the main street. The beds are really comfortable, and it’s also one of the best prices in Calafate. I had a very nice stay and really enjoyed my time there thanks to Isabela and Sebastian. Great hosts!

We stayed three nights in the room with two beds. When we arrived late from the bus station on Christmas Eve, Isabel and Sebastian were celebrating with friends in the common area. They invited us to share their table, which was very kind. They were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The kitchen was useful for cooking, and with two shared bathrooms we could use the other one whenever one was occupied, so we never had to wait. Three beautiful cats around the house and garden made the atmosphere even warmer and more relaxing. We loved petting them while away from our own cat on our long trip.

Sebastian and Isabel are amazing, helpful, and talkative. On our first day, all the markets were closed, so they offered us food. The hostel itself is a little old, but it works well enough for a budget stay, and you can use the kitchen.
