The pool was cold and unhygienic, as shown in the pictures, and the building had serious noise problems. You could hear every footstep and door slam in the hallways from 6:00 AM. Guests above us woke us at 4:30 AM and 2:00 AM, despite being assured those rooms would be empty. Reception and management didn’t respond. We’d told them in advance we were coming for a special event, but although they noted it, they didn’t really take it into account. The restaurant also closed earlier than its advertised holiday hours, and the promised call back about the spa never came. Disappointing stay, poor service, and terrible acoustics. Would not recommend.

The breakfast was a real highlight, and the rooms felt roomy and modern. Honestly, I'd highly recommend booking here! 🥰

The lobby and restaurant were pleasant places to unwind, and breakfast was simple but good enough. The room was clean and comfortable, though a little dated, and the warm air made it uncomfortable at times. The spa needs attention: the pool and hot tub could use a proper clean and an update. Service also felt odd. We had no towels in our room every day, and getting replacements took more effort than it should have. The town was still within a reasonable walk.

The restaurant was decent, and the service was good. The rooms were clean too, but there are only stairs, no elevators, and we couldn't adjust the room temperature. It was either too hot or freezing. Downtown is about a 20-minute walk. I'm not sure what other places nearby are better, but next time I visit El Calafate I'll try somewhere else.

I'm glad I didn't let the bad reviews put me off. The rooms looked newly done, with new carpet, furniture, and fixtures, and they were spotless and nice to be in. Breakfast was very nice too, and there's a restaurant and bar on site. It's a bit farther from the restaurants in town, though. Our room had no air-conditioning, and the pillows were softer than I like. I'd recommend it otherwise.
