Getting to the city center and restaurants was easy, and the staff were friendly. The rooms were average, with dusty floors. We had to switch rooms midway through our stay because of a severe leak, and most showers seemed to have either leaks or water pressure issues. Breakfast had very few healthy options. The only hot choices were scrambled eggs, which tasted okay, and some kind of meat, which I didn’t try as a vegetarian. They weren’t very accommodating of dietary needs like vegan or dairy-free.

The rooms are simple and clean, and reception speaks English. It’s quiet here, just a few blocks from the Main Street. The restaurant was only so-so: some menu items weren’t available, and while the flavor wasn’t bad, the food was a bit boring. The menu is in Spanish and English. They also offer boxed lunches for traveling or hiking.

It’s easy to walk to the nearby restaurants and shops, and parking was convenient. Our room was clean and comfortable, the staff were accommodating, and breakfast was decent.

The room wasn’t very clean, and there was a terrible smell coming from the toilet drainage. I told the receptionist it was clogged, but they never really fixed it. They just left us to put up with it.
