We’d gladly stay here again. Veronica was so welcoming, and the cabin was spacious and warm. From the yard there’s a great view, and you can spot one of the big hiking trails. A vegan restaurant is just a minute away on foot. They cleaned the cabin daily, and the water is safe to drink.

The owners really made this place feel special, such a lovely couple who made us feel right at home. We also enjoyed the cabanas, the view of Fitz Roy, and how close we were to restaurants and everything else.

After long days hiking, our cabin was just right for six guys, with the basics we needed and Mt Fitz Roy looking down on us. It’s also easy to walk to the bars and restaurants on San Martin, the trailheads, and travel agencies like Walk Patagonia. The hosts were amazing. They helped us arrange transport from El Calafate and plan our hikes, and their local knowledge and hospitality made our time in El Chalten. Hope I can make it back soon.

The hosts made the place feel like home and went out of their way to look after us. They also shared more information about Argentina than I could have found in travel blogs. This was the highlight of our Patagonia trip.
