MARA W.
The location made it easy to walk to several cafes, restaurants and mini markets, and we had a comfortable night in El Chalten. Our room seemed fairly new, was clean and well kept, and the male receptionist was friendly. There were some drawbacks: the toilet felt cramped and had no air circulation. The kitchenette had only a small window and no overhead circulator, so cooking smoke and steam spread through the room. The main window faced the road and a restaurant, and opened like a door. We left it open for fresh air but didn't feel comfortable that someone could walk right in.
