Hostería Canela B&B

A lovely, quiet hosteria with very attentive staff. Just keep in mind that the nearest restaurant, supermarket, and other places are 2-3 km away, so the location may feel too far from town for some people.

We loved our spacious, comfortable quadruple room and would definitely come back to Esquel. The place was excellent, from the cleanliness and decor to the bathroom and shower. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff took great care of us. Jorge was especially friendly and shared some lovely stories. Thanks for making us feel so welcome! Ana, Facu, and Roque

Breakfast was more than complete: coffee, milk, yogurt, cereal, cold cuts, jam, croissants, and toast. They even brought me rhubarb jam, just like my grandmother used to make, which brought back childhood memories with my Welsh and English immigrant grandparents. Our upstairs room on the right was a real treat, very spacious, with a bathroom and shower I could have stayed in for two hours. There was a kettle for tea, the sheets were clean, and everything was spotless, tidy, and tastefully done. The place feels beautiful and welcoming. From the moment we arrived, the owner greeted us so warmly. We loved it and would return without hesitation!

We turned up but didn't stay. We had paid the full price in advance, and no one had mentioned that the upstairs room was reached by a narrow staircase where we couldn't even get our suitcases up. That room was awful. The owner, Jorge, was a jerk. I don't recommend this place at all.
