La Casona

A lovely place to relax. The rooms are small but comfortable, with clean sheets, plus access to a microwave and a small refrigerator. The pool is the highlight, and the staff keep it very well maintained. Be sure to pay attention to the rules for entering the pool. Everyone was very friendly and the service was excellent. It's a good location, just 5 blocks from the start of the Costanera waterfront. An open-air parking area is available if you're coming by car.

The owners were especially attentive and friendly. The pool was great and spotless, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with air conditioning, a microwave, and a refrigerator. Reception can provide dishes and cutlery if you need them. There's a large barbecue area with an industrial kitchen and several covered grills for rainy weather. When it's nice out, you can choose among more outdoor grills around the property and settle wherever you're comfortable. A fantastic spot for a few relaxing days.

The whole place was very clean, and the staff were friendly and provided excellent service. We could get dishes for eating there. The rooms were lovely, with microwaves and mini-fridges, and the showers were excellent. There's a beautiful pool and two barbecue areas. They also offer a continental breakfast in a room with tables and electric kettles for tea or coffee. The complex is a few blocks from the riverfront near the bridge, in a very quiet area. An excellent place to stay in Gualeguaychú, highly recommended.

We stayed over Carnival weekend. The grounds, pool, and lounge chairs were great, and our room, air conditioning, and minibar were very good. Breakfast wasn't included, and the shower was fine. One of the owners kindly drove us to the parade grounds when a taxi wasn't available, and all the staff were very friendly. The Wi-Fi didn't work anywhere in the complex during our stay. We didn't stay in the area painted red. It was good overall.
