Rainforest Selva Hotel

The breakfast was okay, a typical Argentinian hotel spread of breads, ham and cheese, and some fruit. The main hotel entrance looked nice and the employee who checked us in was pleasant, so my first impression was good. A family member's room at the main site was passable as a very low-quality budget hotel. The cabanas, though, were awful. Don't stay in them. The beds were old, worn and cheap, the towels ragged and holed, and the sheets had stains that looked like poop at first. Looking closer, they were probably mud, but they still looked awful. The bathroom was disgusting, the shower leaked all over the floor, and the whole cabana was in rough shape. It needed renovation 20 years ago. The cabanas are off-site, around 100-150 meters down the street from the normal rooms. We checked in late, then had to drag our luggage through rain and mud in the dark. The cabanas weren't lit, and no employee escorted us there. The pool and play area also looked old, dirty and worn, with very cloudy water. We didn't have time to swim, but I wouldn't have let my kids use it. I'll never stay here again. If you have to stay at this resort, book one of the normal hotel rooms.
