Grand Brizo La Plata

The pool and terrace were wonderful, and the spa was great. I'd recommend getting a massage while you're there. Everything felt thoughtfully arranged, even the parking, which has 24-hour security. The hotel is high quality, and I felt completely comfortable. The service was at a 5* hotel level, with staff looking after us at every turn. They were wonderful throughout, from check-in and room service to breakfast and the restaurant, taking care of every detail. We had a gluten and dairy allergy, and they provided fresh suitable bread every day for breakfast and dinner. They also cooked the potatoes in separate oil to avoid gluten contamination. The facilities were brilliant, and I'm grateful to all the staff for making me and my family so happy there.

The room at Grand Brizo La Plata was lovely and spotless, with an elegant, roomy bathroom and a majestic view. There are plenty of places to eat within an easy walk, and the cathedral, the largest in South America, is walkable too. I was especially keen to use the on-site massage services, sauna, and gym. If you can, book from Argentina or use a VPN to get the better domestic hotel rate.

We were right across from the theatre and an easy walk from the cathedral. Breakfast had lots of options, and the coffee was really good. Our room was spacious and clean, with a good mattress and a roomy bathroom. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend it.

The staff were lovely, and my room was incredible, clean, and beautifully decorated. I had a pleasant stay and would definitely return, though a few things could be better. The TV felt a bit outdated. Also, I noticed an unpleasant smell by the bar on the ground floor and in the auditorium, where I attended an event on my second day. It seemed like sewage, a gas leak, or some kind of pesticide. I used the minibar tea, coffee, and sodas on the first day, but they weren't replenished, and neither were the mugs and glasses. By the next day I had no clean mug. And one night there was a street party. I was on the sixth floor, but the noise seemed amplified by the glass windows and made it unbearable in the room. Everyone has a right to party, but the street-facing rooms need better sound insulation.
