We’ve come here twice now and liked it just as much this time. The plaza is a nice place to sit outside in the sun or take the dog for a walk, though it can get a little noisy with all the visitors, especially in summer when people come from around Argentina and abroad. There’s a kids’ carousel on one corner. The Grand Casino is right across the street, and beaches stretch for several kilometers on the other side.

With the beach right there, all the amenities, and events happening around the area, it feels like an immersive place to spend time. There are always plenty of people around. A must-see for anyone visiting Mar Del Plata.

Palm trees, benches, a fountain, and a clean island. There’s also a children’s carousel, with little cafes nearby where you can get food.

I felt safe on my own and had no trouble at all. The park stays lively during the day and into the evening, with people walking their dogs, passing through, having a drink, or just spending time together. There are plenty of benches and paths, so you can sit down or wander around. I enjoyed the nice atmosphere and weather for a few hours.

The people at the Fallas Valencianas exhibit were very kind, and they served typical Buñuelos, fried cakes. The event happens every year, and those who put it on are descendants of the original immigrants.
