The room was nice, and room service and breakfast were good. The hotel was comfortable and tidy 👌🏻. But the Wi-Fi was awful, barely usable, so I had to share my phone’s 4G connection instead. That cost it a star. Sad.

The location is what makes it worthwhile, close to the beach and in a pleasant, quiet shopping area. The staff were helpful, and the room was large, but the mattress sagged a bit, the carpet was stained, and the closet had hardly any room for clothes. You can hear everything through the very thin walls. The amenities were underwhelming: a small, poorly maintained pool, a solarium packed with lounge chairs and no room to move, and a tiny gym in the basement. For the price, I think you’re mainly paying for the location.

For five days, in 30-degree heat, the air conditioning NEVER worked. We had to make do with a standing fan 😡. The rooms are all glass, so the heat was unbearable. The breakfast towels were old for two days, the yogurt was EXPIRED, and we had no hot water for a shower for an entire day. A complete disaster!!! 😠😠😠
