Hotel Avenida del Mar

The location is a real plus, just two blocks from the beach and one from the San Martín pedestrian street. The staff are friendly, the service is excellent, and both the food and cleanliness are very good. The building itself needs attention, though. The windows don't shut properly, there's only one outlet, and the sinks are tiny. There's also just one very small elevator, so you can be left waiting for it.

We felt genuinely looked after throughout our stay in our beloved Mar del Plata. Every staff member was consistently kind and respectful, and the service was excellent down to the smallest details. The rooms and facilities were carefully maintained, and both breakfast and dinner were impeccable. Thank you for the professionalism and for making our stay such a lovely memory.

I called several times to check whether the rates were still the same, and each time I was told they were. Then I arrived at the hotel today, checked again, and found that the rates had changed. I find it incredibly disrespectful to be told one thing and then face a different price on arrival. I expect professionalism, and they need to stop playing games with people.

The staff were really helpful and friendly. The hotel is nice too, close to the beach and just around the corner from the San Martin pedestrian street.
