The garage had no parking available when we arrived, so we had to find a different one nearby. My wife and I booked a double bed through Booking.com, which should mean a room for two with a double bed, but they gave us two singles. When we asked to switch, they said there were no other rooms. There was no air conditioning, and it was unbearably hot. The room only had a standing fan screwed to the wall. I was bitten all night because the sheets were infested with dust mites, and the heat was awful. The next morning I asked again for a double bed and clean sheets. The owner said the hotel had no air conditioning. When I mentioned the dust mites, she responded sarcastically, "Haha, dust mites?" Then she spoke to the receptionist about taking my complaint, repeating what I'd said as if I was talking nonsense or had got it wrong. We paid for that night and moved to another hotel. It's cheap, and the receptionist and staff are friendly, but the owner and the hotel itself are a disaster. We went to the Hotel Bristol, where the service was ten thousand times better and it had all the basic amenities and services you'd expect from a hotel in downtown Mar del Plata. I absolutely don't recommend this place. Don't go.

The facilities are excellent and everything is extremely clean. There isn't air conditioning, but the fan kept the rooms perfectly comfortable. I hadn't been back since 2017, and this place rarely shows up on Booking.com. I'd always stayed at a more expensive hotel nearby, but this one is a thousand times better. If I could, I'd give it more stars.

I went for Carnival weekend after booking directly with the hotel. There was no air conditioning, and the fan sat on top of the wardrobe, so you had to stand on a chair to switch it on. The night receptionist politely told me the room had just been remodeled. There was only one electrical outlet and no water dispenser in the lobby. The owner's explanation was, "BECAUSE WE SELL IT HERE!" She kept bringing me water from a supermarket that was open until 11 pm. The hotel has a sign saying you have to pay for cleaning if you stain the linens. I spilled soda on the sheet, but the stain was still there the next day, so they hadn't changed it. Breakfast was served to you and you couldn't choose. Only on the last day did I dare ask for the croissant the person beside me had left. A total disappointment! What I find TERRIBLE is that there's no phone to call reception. I have epilepsy, and there were elderly people using canes. If someone had a seizure, would I have had to go down to reception to ask for a doctor?

My daughter and I stayed for a few days. The staff and owners were incredibly kind and attentive, breakfast was delicious, and the whole place was impeccably clean, from our room to the rest of the hotel. I'd definitely come back.

Our group of 13 stayed here for the NB 21k race and got excellent, friendly service. From our first contact, they helped with the reservation and kept in touch to make sure everything went smoothly. The hotel looks practically brand new and renovated. The owners and all the staff were attentive, and they served breakfast at the right time for the race, 5 am. The mattresses were super comfortable, the rooms had good ventilation, the shower was perfect, and rooms were serviced every day. I highly recommend it for groups, friends, or couples. Thanks for everything!
