The hotel itself is mediocre, though its location could work if you only need a place to sleep. You get what you pay for. What really bothered me was how they handled our reservation. I booked two weeks ahead and let them know at 3 PM when we’d arrive because we had a specific event. When we got there, they asked us to wait while the room was prepared. After 40 minutes, they said an error in an Excel spreadsheet meant there were no rooms available. They weren’t honest or able to sort out the problem, and there was no clear explanation of what had actually happened. Don’t offer customer service if you can’t explain the situation. Luckily, we found another hotel, and they took responsibility for their mistake.

I paid for two nights and left after just one. Sleeping there was so awful that I didn’t care about losing the money. Everything felt neglected: the room was old and dirty, the bathroom didn’t work, and there wasn’t even toilet paper. The sheets and towels were stained, and the curtains were badly torn. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend it.

Everything was great. Just know that getting to the water from the public beach means quite a long walk. The private beaches are quicker to reach if you pay for parking and drive in.

For a one-star hotel, it’s very affordable and honestly not bad at all. The rooms are clean, the showers have good pressure, and breakfast, parking, and cable TV are included. It’s only three blocks from the beach. I’d recommend it 100%.
