Hotel San José

The staff made noise and shouted constantly at night, which was awful. On top of that, they don't take your check-in information, so apparently anyone can walk in, ask for a key, and do whatever they want. Room 26 had moths everywhere. The sheets were stained, the pillows dirty, and the makeshift wardrobe was filthy. There was barely any space, and the bathroom was very uncomfortable. The facilities were passable but basic, and breakfast left a lot to be desired.

The staff are the only redeeming part of this place. The rooms were so small that even with just one suitcase there was barely room, despite supposedly being for two people. There was no fan, and the Wi-Fi didn't reach the first floor. I had to arrange room service myself.

I really enjoyed the days I spent there. The woman who served breakfast was lovely, and all the staff were very attentive.

It was an awful stay. The first room they showed me felt like a cave, more like a one-star hotel. Then they took my belongings and left them at reception to push me into another room, where the door wouldn't close. We had to complain again and again before getting towels. Guests were constantly being verbally abused.
