Alamo Hostel & Suites

The staff were super helpful and gave us good advice. Breakfast was basic, but did the job. We had a comfortable bed in each room. The garden room we stayed in for the first few nights had a huge bed, though the bathroom had no window, so we had to leave our room door open after showering to air it out. Our second room in the main building also had a comfortable bed, and its bathroom window was an improvement.

We spent 5 nights in a private room and would definitely recommend the hostel to anyone visiting Mendoza. The room was clean, spacious, and cozy, with very comfortable beds and pillows. The staff were lovely and spoke English. Max was especially helpful arranging different activities and sharing recommendations. The hostel itself is beautiful, with a very cute garden.

Nico's dinner recommendations were seriously on point, and everyone went out of their way to help us. We appreciated the continental breakfast too. During our three nights visiting Mendoza, our room was big and warm, with plugs and lamps for both of us. There was hot water in the shower and drinkable water straight from the kitchen tap. Highly recommend.

An old, spacious villa that's been a charming hostel for over 19 years. The courtyard is peaceful, the playlist is alternative, and the crew speaks English. Service was great. It's on a quiet street, just around the corner from Plaza Chile. Highly recommended. Thanks Max & team!
