I'm back at El Torrion, and I wouldn't choose another hotel in Mendoza. The price and location are hard to beat, with the busiest shopping area only 1/2 block away. The hotel is clean and solid, and there's a usable safe in each room. Parking is available a couple blocks away. They've added a security door at the entrance that only the person at the front desk can open electronically. The kitchen is closed due to the current economy, so breakfast is currently the standard continental kind. The staff are still the same friendly people I remember from my last visit. If anything comes up, just ask them. I needed help because I'm from Florida in the US and don't speak very good Spanish. Omar at the front desk speaks fluent English, and Myriam is also very nice. They're both dedicated. Thank you, El Torrion, for making my stay in Mendoza very nice. 😘

El Torreon is family owned, and the people working there are kind and helpful. They care about the hotel and want guests to feel comfortable, like part of the family. It's clean and solid, in what I think is the best part of Mendoza, with plenty of shopping around. There's a full kitchen and a great cook, and the prices are very reasonable. Check it out!
