The place feels like a large house with a garden, and the facilities are a little dated but still fine. Breakfast was very basic, just two pieces of toast with butter and jam, plus coffee and tea. When you come back, someone has to let you in. Reception isn't really open around the clock, and sometimes nobody hears the bell. You can end up waiting and hoping someone notices, even during the day.
