W&H Casa de Huespédes

The hosts were so friendly and happy to offer thoughtful recommendations whenever we had a question. The beds were super comfortable and everything was very clean. It’s a great base for exploring Mendoza, and there’s a lovely garden where you can set up your own BBQ. Highly recommend this guesthouse.

We really enjoyed the wine tasting, which runs Thursday through Sunday. You have to sign up ahead of time, so ask about it when booking. The rooms were clean, and the location is close to some good restaurants. Hope we can come back!

As a solo traveler, I felt safe and comfortable here, and the location made it easy to get to nearby parks, cafes, and restaurants. The staff were kind and helpful. The rooms were lovely and clean, especially the bed and linens. I’m already looking forward to coming back to W&H Casa de Huéspedes.

There are good cafes and restaurants nearby, the area felt safe, and the hosts were very friendly. We could check in two hours early, the room was clean with a comfortable bed, the Wi-Fi worked well for us despite some other reviews, and we liked that wine tasting was offered even though we couldn’t make it. The price was good too. A few things were less convenient. The place is low key and looks like an ordinary house from outside. You can only get in if a host is there or another guest lets you in with their key, so share an approximate arrival time. Our bedroom window wouldn’t close properly, which made the room cold at night and let in some outside noise. I’m sure they’ll fix it. The photos are very nicely done and don’t show quite all the reality. Cleaning is only on request, and there’s no bin in the restroom. Sound carries a lot from the corridor and front door. A couple of noisy guests woke us early in the morning, though perhaps we were just unlucky.
