Getting into town isn't convenient, since downtown is a long way off and the taxi costs about $600 pesos. There is a park roughly 2km down the road toward the river, though. The hotel itself is well appointed, with cozy, comfortable beds and a pretty good breakfast: plenty of sweets and hot coffee. Staff are wonderfully accommodating with almost every request. It's very close to the airport, so there is some noise during the day, but not at night.

We picked this hotel for an overnight stop on our way south, since only a few places accepted dogs, and we loved our stay. The restaurant served delicious food. Our room looked out onto the garden, and the shower had strong pressure and very hot water. The bed was really comfortable, and every staff member was incredibly friendly. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was decent, but I had to ask at reception for more coffee and milk because the person handling it had left and wasn't coming back. I can't recommend this place at all. I usually stay overnight in Neuquén on my way to San Martín de Los Andes, at one of the three chain hotels on the highway. This time I tried somewhere different because the photos looked great. In person, the hotel was run-down and poorly maintained. The restaurant charged too much for food that disappointed, and the Aperol Spritz aperitifs we ordered were awful.
