The one thing this apartment has going for it is being near the beach. The rest was awful. We paid $1,400 for seven days in Apartment 48, expecting something much better for that price. I never actually met Mariano, the person handling the rental, and given how bad the stay was, maybe that was just as well. Pinamar itself is beautiful, and we managed a few good days by staying positive, but the rental had nothing to do with that. I can only give one star, though zero would fit better. The worst moment was getting back from the beach and finding the apartment door wide open. We were incredibly lucky not to lose everything we owned. We were told the cleaning staff may have forgotten to close it. Their cleaning was poor anyway: they didn't even sweep, and it seemed to amount to taking out the trash. The listing photos showed a different building from the one Apartment 48 is in, which felt like false advertising. There were so many easy, inexpensive things that needed fixing, and I can't understand why they'd charge $200 a day with the apartment in this state. There's no soap dish in the shower or toilet paper holder in the bathroom. The bedroom curtain hangs crooked. The heater is peeling and dirty, the pictured shower screen is missing and replaced with a curtain, and the balcony gate is rusty. The bedroom window won't close, the shower has rust, and its head looks rusty or dirty too. The shower grate shifts underfoot, so it's easy to trip on. Security was another concern: getting into the parking garage, let alone the apartments, didn't feel secure. Breakfast was so bad we only went once. The beach tent was often unavailable unless we got there very early, so I doubt there's one per apartment. Parking was also a mess, with cars and trucks taking two spaces, and I had to park outside more than once. The elevator needs maintenance, apparently not until January 2026, and the fire extinguishers were useless. I don't know whether Mariano is the owner or manager, but he should address these problems or lower the rate so tourists don't feel ripped off. Other guests have made similar comments. Goodbye.
