Cabañas Los Arreboles

The cabin was lovely and had everything we needed, and the location is excellent. We stayed five nights, April 7th to 12th, in low season. The listing mentions maid service, but our sheets and towels weren’t changed during the stay. I’d still come back. Just offering some constructive criticism.

Nelson, the manager, gave us excellent service. It was a wonderful stay in a welcoming place with great views. Every cabin in the complex looks out at the mountains, and each one has its own privacy.

The gentleman who runs the place is very friendly, and breakfast was good. The cabins are nice and well equipped, but they’re loft-style, with rooms close together, so privacy is difficult. The barbecue was the main problem: it has no chimney, and when it rains it gets wet and can’t be used. It rained every day the weekend I was there.

We were greeted quickly and warmly even though we hadn’t booked, and the $70,000 for one night seemed fair. We stayed because it was only one night. We hadn’t realized the kids’ beds were two wide mattresses on a cement base, with one under the stairs, which was pretty uncomfortable. We went for a walk as soon as we arrived, then came back to a cigarette smell inside the cabin. I don’t know what happened.
