Cabanas Valle Del Sol

My stay wasn’t great. The house had obvious maintenance problems: broken furniture, a clogged shower, torn and worn sheets, chewing gum stuck to the beds, and dirty comforters. They also charged extra for heating, but it didn’t work. I told the manager, who replied, “It has to work.” I would’ve appreciated an offer of another cabin or a refund of the heating fee.

The scenery is stunning, and the cabins are comfortable, fairly well equipped, and have good heating and amenities. I wanted to disconnect, so the weak Wi-Fi didn’t bother me much. I’d definitely return.

The staff were very friendly, but the facilities felt neglected and uncomfortable. We ended up leaving because we didn’t feel at ease. I paid the same price for a better cabin in Uspallata, where the beds were made for us. There were several problems: the beds weren’t made on arrival, all the bedroom and bathroom doors were hard or impossible to close because of lock issues or humidity, and we had to ask for a lighter or matches because there weren’t enough to light the stove. The walls and ceilings had stains, streaks, and signs of damp, and the covered pool looked dirty with rusty chairs. There’s a lot that could be improved.

We were treated so well, and the peaceful place was great for my children, who loved the sandbox. The cabins were excellent and comfortable, with quality mattresses, radiant floor heating, a stove, and all the amenities. I recommend it for exploring Mendoza or for people from Mendoza to enjoy Potrerillos.
