The place is really nice, but it clearly hasn't had any investment in the inventory for a long time. There were biting ants on the floor and beds, and the apartment smelled strongly of damp everywhere. The bathroom had mold and someone else's hair, the pool was dirty, and the restaurant charged as if it were a five-star hotel. Two stars at most.

Very nice resort close to the cataratas, with great service. There's a pool, bar, mini mercado, and restaurant with good food at good prices. The connection in the rooms can be bad, but you'll want to be by the pool anyway, not in your room 😉.

I stayed two nights for the waterfall park, and I absolutely wouldn't book this place again. The room was nasty: yellow tiles and towels, mold, a door knob that barely worked or locked, ants, and spiders. One night I came back from dinner to find a huge, thick millipede, around 4-5 inches (10-15 cm) long, in the room. I flushed it, but it could just as easily have been a less friendly bug, so I put a towel by the door. Internet is basically a huge maybe. WiFi is only in reception, the bar and pool area, and the restaurant. You might get it in a room close to those places, but don't count on it. There's basic cable. The mini mart has just basic items and seemed a bit overpriced. Breakfast was lame, mostly basic bread, juice, and fruit, with no eggs or proper breakfast food. If you go out, you have to hand in your key and collect it when you come back. Good luck if you book it. I wouldn't, if I'd seen it beforehand. Absolutely not.

The location was a perfect distance from the Falls, and there's a wildlife sanctuary within walking distance, literally across the road. We had a great, relaxed stay. It's very family-friendly, with two pools, including the main one beside the bar and restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'm coeliac, and the restaurant staff catered to my needs fantastically. Our room was basic but comfortable, with blockout curtains. The staff also arranged a taxi and chauffeur who took us to the Brasil side of the Falls and handled the whole border crossing. Ask for Edgar.
