El Pueblito Iguazú

There’s plenty to see around the hotel itself. The staff were very nice, the rooms clean, and breakfast was good. Lovely place, and I’d come back next time I’m in Iguazu without a second thought.

Nahuel at the front desk was a great help with restaurant ideas and other tips about town. The attached restaurant was good and very friendly, and the bar had good drinks. We had a wonderful stay. The complex shows its age, though I’m not sure of its history, and there’s a huge crew maintaining it. It was very clean, but being in the jungle meant a few ants got in. The air conditioning worked well. We were on the Falls side of town, with taxi rides into town under $7. As with any large complex, water surges of hot water can happen when another unit turns on a faucet.

The gardens are lovely, and the hotel feels like a small tropical park with a reptile zoo. It looks nice from outside, and the rooms are spacious with a big, comfortable bed. We didn’t use the pool. The bathroom needs an upgrade: the cold tap didn’t work, the basin was cracked, and the shower door wouldn’t close properly. Dinner was tasty with a good wine list. Manuel looked after us, and Victor was always helpful. The staff are generally very good. The hotel is far from everything, so you need transport to go places. It definitely needs an upgrade.

The service was spectacular, responsive and accommodating. Diego, Christian and Emanuel made us feel welcome and served good food. The hotel has a unique feel and made us feel close to nature.
