The cabins were disappointingly dirty. When you're traveling, you want to feel comfortable instead of spending time cleaning, and being in the countryside doesn't seem like an excuse. I've stayed in plenty of similar rural cabins that were clean and well maintained. I hope they take this feedback into account. The location is lovely, right by the river, and the breakfast was varied and high quality. There's also a beautiful park and pool.
The peaceful, nature-filled setting at Cabañas Carpe Diem made it easy to step away from the daily routine. The only thing I'd suggest is adding more kitchen utensils. The cabins were carefully kept, with details that made it easy to relax. Staff were attentive and ready to help, and you could tell they put a lot of care into the place. It would suit a romantic escape or a family trip, and I'd gladly return. Highly recommend!
The pool and breakfast were excellent, and the owners looked after us really well. It's a beautiful place and I'd recommend it. The cabin might have been a bit cleaner, though perhaps being outdoors makes that harder.
We had car trouble over the long weekend, and the owners helped us track down both the part we needed and a mechanic. They were incredibly helpful. The service, location, and property were excellent, and we'll definitely come back next year.
